Jaxon Weatherly is a 2018 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Idaho Falls, ID who attends Hillcrest HS. Tall and slender young athletic build, projects very well physically. Compact arm action with a wrist wrap in back, hides the ball well in back, has good arm quickness coming through, high 3/4's arm slot with good downhill angle. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, plenty more velocity in there with additional strength and physical maturity, gets some arm side running action at times. Soft curveball with some 1/7 depth to it, has good feel for the pitch but will need more power to it. 7.50 runner, left handed hitter, pull approach with some lift in his swing. Very good student.
