Tyler Dobie is a 2018 SS/2B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Bozeman, MT who attends Bozeman HS. Tall and slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.19 runner, moves well in the infield and looks most comfortable when fielding the ball on the move, has soft hands and gathers the ball well, footwork still not consistent on his throws, arm is loose and arm strength still developing, has some middle infield tools to develop with additional strength. Left handed hitter, balanced direct approach to the ball, patient hitter who sees the ball, late up and down hand hitch load throws off timing, mid to opposite field line drive contact. Very good student.
