Ryan Meservey is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Liberty HS. Large frame with a solid, athletic build. Right handed hitter with a balanced, straight stance. Gap to gap approach with an extended, line drive swing plane. Flashes good barrel control that allows for all fields contact as well. Repeats swing well while attacking the baseball with intent. Worked out defensively form the outfield showing a smooth paced actions while closing on the baseball. Deliberate glove to hand exchanges. Compact arm cirlce at separation and releases from a three-quarters slot. Throws produces good on line carry with accuracy, topped at 83 mph. Also pitched showing a high energy. compact three-quarters arm slot with slight cross body action. Fastball has some wiggle with occasional cutting action in the upper 70's. Located to both edges of the plate well. Proved to be tough on hitters to square contact. Outstanding student as well.
