Devan Ornelas is a 2020 MIF/OF with a 5-11 173 lb. frame from Chatsworth, CA who attends Notre Dame Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.56 runner, loose and fluid defensively, has outstanding hands that are quick and soft and confident, quick and light on his feet, throws well from multiple arm slots, arm strength best suited for second base but could be an outstanding defender at that position. Left handed hitter, has the same quick hands while holding a bat, short and quick swing from wide base, contact approach with the tools to execute it, hits line drives all over the field, very consistent.
