2016 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Justin Zachery is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Ravenscroft HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.09 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, slightly open stance with back foot pronated inward. Swings with extreme intent to do damage. Swing is geared uphill to try and elevate the ball. Creates separation in hands and hips. Has strength in swing; flashed ability to square the ball up with authority into gaps. Showed well in the infield, bends well at waist with good flexibility and has quality footwork to both sides. Fields cleanly out front, shows good arm strength across the diamond, throws clocked up to 82 MPH. Very good student.
