Christopher Ciarcia is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-0 161 lb. frame from Pleasantville, NY who attends Pleasantville. Medium-large frame with slender, athletic build at present with good physical projection remaining. Primary pitcher, pitches with deceptive delivery that hides the ball well, lots of moving parts to delivery, pauses at balance point and drives downhill to plate, creates good plane on FB from high 3/4 slot, FB worked 75-77 and touched 78, quick arm through release with shorter arm action. Pitches off of his fastball and has good tempo in delivery, CB shows good 11/5 shape with quality depth, attacks hitters with FB. Hits from upright, narrow stance with big leg lift trigger, generates solid bat speed with good hands, doesn't transfer completely off of backside, line drive swing plane with mid-field approach, made consistent contact. Attacks the ball in the OF with good footwork and good routes, fields cleanly, transfers well and gets rid of ball quickly, made accurate throws with velocity topping at 80 MPH. Good student.
