Kelly Crumpton is a 2021 SS/3B/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Jackson, MS who attends Jackson Preparatory. Outstanding athletic build, lots of physical projection remaining. Two-way prospect who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. High leg raise delivery on the mound, has energy to the plate but held it together well with his athleticism, will recoil at times on release, arm is fast and loose coming through. Fastball worked 89-91 mph, showed sharp biting action on a power curveball, picked up an out on a solid change up. Only threw one inning. Third base tools on defense, works on top of his throws well with lots of arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, long stride into contact with a rotational upper body swing, flashes power when he's timed up out front, present swing length creates timing issues with velocity. Verbal commitment to Mississippi. Named to the Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
