Dominick Berardi is a 2018 RHP/C with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends Ponte Vedra High School. Medium build, with a long, lean projectable frame that has room to fill. Right handed pitcher that utilized a high three quarter arm slot with a long arm action and short arm circle. Good downhill plane with a fastball that sat in the mid 70's with heavy run. Could see improvement with incorporation of lower half. Curveball that flashed depth, but should keep lower. Behind the plate, used a wide set and long arm action. At the plate, utilized a wide stance with hands close to the body. Short swing to the ball with an inside out approach, cuts off extension which limits line drive ability. Should improve with added strength. Exceptional Student.
