Christopher Bohrer is a 2018 3B/RHP, OF, 1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Large, athletic frame with solid present strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball with a wide base, hands works well out front, longer strides moving towards the ball, works through the ball and shows carry to throws across. Sound footwork and athleticism around first base bag too, strong arm across and ball comes out well with carry. Also pitched, deliberate tempo to delivery, side step moving into leg lift just above waist. Works from a mid three-quarters arm slot, pitched off fastball and topped out at 85 mph, filled zone with riding life, maintained velocity out of the stretch. Curveball shows 10-4 shape with depth, throws for strikes up to 72 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and even base, utilizes a simple toe tap trigger for timing. Coils back at start of swing, uses physical strength well to generate bat speed through the zone with a line drive swing plane. Middle of the field approach, shows firm line drive contact off the barrel when on time with swing, has tools that will continue to develop.
