Alexander Morales is a 2016 RHP/ with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends City Of Hialeah Education Academy.Compact frame, lean build with solid athleticism, developing strength, still has room to fill out. Worked from stretch exclusively at this event, good burst to plate, has energetic delivery. Works to a high three quarter's arm slot, has a long, loose arm-action, shows fluidity and solid arm speed through the path. Up to 79 mph with fastball, offering has some armside run, can occasionally lose the pitch to that side by opening frontside early. Shows good feel for curveball, offering has 11/5 shape, good depth and flashes good, late biting finish. Also works in a rare, firm changeup in the mid-70s. Has solid knowledge of pitching, mixes velocities and location well to keep hitters off balance. Good student.
