Michael Osorio is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-7 128 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends West Bronx Academy For The Future. Medium frame with young, athletic present build and good room to continue filling out. Ran well, posting a 7.12 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from balanced stance with high hand set, rocks back into load with momentum, comes slightly open with front hip in stride, drops hands into swing but still generates line drive swing plane with solid hand speed, incomplete weight transfer forward into swing, makes consistent contact on a line or on the ground to all fields. Fields off to the side well with balance in the OF, overall clean hands when fielding, stops momentum a bit when loading to throw rather than working through completely in crow hop, clean exchange from glove to hand, consistently accurate throws to both 3B and home with OF velocity topping out at 70 MPH. Good student.
