Zane Denton is a 2019 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Ravenwood HS. Medium build with good present strength. Switch-hitter, has very good bat speed from both sides of the plate, same set up and approach, spread with a lift and pull approach, ball comes off the barrel hard and has the ability to drive it deep, ability to hit equally from both sides is impressive. 7.33 runner, has sound fundamental actions through the ball, hands are soft at the ball, will have to continue to work on lateral agility. Also pitched, some energy to delivery with a high 3/4's arm action and some back tilt, deep arm in back, gets good plane to the plate but will fall off on release. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, works it to both sides of the plate. Curveball had good spin and depth when he was directional with it. Bat is his tool. Good student, signed with Alabama. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
