Johziel Serrano is a 2018 OF/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends University HS. Has a large frame, lean build, and plenty of room to fill out as he continues to mature physically and put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.09 sixty yard dash. From the outfield, light on his feet with good range. Had a nice, loose throwing action that produced good carry on throws with arm strength up to 85 MPH. Good footwork at first base and good range. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a leg lift trigger. Has an opposite field approach on a line drive swing plane. Loud contact off the bat when barreled. Excellent student.
