Ryan Bailey is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Blauvelt, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, side step moving into a high leg lift, stays on line with lower half coming down the mound; quick and compact arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Will continue to refine consistent release point, fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly true in life with some effort at release. Mixed a curveball in at 69 mph with short shape. Similar big arm strength from the outfield, incorporates a crow hop well, gains momentum through release, lower and shorter arm action on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with an even stance; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Short swing path and incorporates physical strength well, ball jumps when squared, gets downward with path through the zone.
