Billy Cappuccio is a 2019 1B/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Hammonton, NJ who attends Hammonton. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary first baseman with clean, sound footwork while working off the bag and centering the baseball. Funnels the baseball out front and worked through transfer with loose glove to hand exchanges. Extended arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced accurate, on line carry across the infield topping at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Stayed balanced throughout and displayed good feel for a linear barrel plane. Swung with intent and consistently created hard contact to the middle of the field between the gaps.
