Scott Sweeney is a 2020 OF/ with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Glen Allen, VA who attends Deep Run. Medium and athletic frame with room to fill to the build. Ran a 6.75 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the baseball well with quickness and feel for the position, loose arm that works through the back into his release up to an over the top arm slot, average arm strength currently that project for more with added strength, topped out at 78 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a high hand set to start, stays balanced throughout loading cleanly with a nice linear shift, swings with a long path to contact, present bat speed in stroke with an opposite field approach. Outstanding student.
