Jensen Jones is a 2019 C/1B/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends St. John Neumann HS. Very strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, leg tuck load, stays balanced well with a direct stride into contact, short swing, keeps things pretty simple and direct, downward swing plane and can impart some back spin but tends to get the ball on the ground, middle of the field approach, has the strength and pre-swing mechanics to open up his swing and drive the ball with more power. 6.72 runner, very good straight ahead runner, young footwork behind the plate with limited gain, compact arm action, some arm strength and carry, would also like to see him play in the outfield. Good athlete who can improve as a player with repetitions and adjustments. Good student.
