Teddy Goss is a 2019 RHP/3B, 1B, OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Wellesley, MA who attends Wellesley High School. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and long limbs with present strength throughout. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a side step moving into delivery, high leg lift up past belt with a short stride down the mound, creates some extension out front. Shorter arm stroke through the back side working to a high three-quarters arm slot, short running life and gets on top of fastball well to generate occasional plane. Induces contact early in the count, throws curveball for strikes and shows 11-5 shape, keeps hitters off balance. Consistent ground ball contact, flashed a short fading changeup. Fields the ball out front in the infield, short steps moving towards the ball and shows a similar compact arm action on throws across the diamond, accurate, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, narrow stance in the box with a medium hands set. Short and compact sing with an inside path, upper body dominant swing and does a nice job of getting hands through the zone. Creates torque moving into contact and has feel for the barrel, strength coming off when square and can work to all fields. Very good student.
