Dalton Hill is a 2017 2B/OF, SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends Alexander. Medium, athletic build with some present strength, still has room to fill out and add physicality. Primary infielder, shuffles feet to get to the ball, has some lateral quickness. Could shorten up transfer and release, has solid footwork and instincts to go along with developing arm strength and accurate arm across the diamond. Right handed hitter, even base with toe-tap timing mechanism. Level, line-drive swing plane, has grooved path and shows feel for the barrel at times. Could incorporate more lower half into his swing mechanics, but stays relatively short to the ball and has solid bat-to-ball skills. Should continue to improve with additional strength and experience. Excellent student.
