Kale Lackey is a 2023 C/RHP, 3B, OF, UT with a 5-11 151 lb. frame from Kerrville, TX who attends Tivy. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, hands separate well from hips in load, employs both toe tap and leg lift trigger at times, linear to downward swing plane, middle-field approach on a line, showed contact skill. Worked out in the outfield, sits back on the ball, replaces feet well on charge, fields off to side, maintains momentum, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Also pitched, lengthy draw back through stroke, offline through the back, high front side coming through, overtop slot, fastball worked 67-73 mph with some running life.
