Anthony Benavides is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Clear Brook HS. Slender young build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Left handed hitter, long and loose swing with an uphill swing path, looking to pull the ball. Showed balanced actions coming through the ball in the outfield with good footwork throwing, developing arm strength, makes soft and accurate throws. Also pitched, long and loose arm action, tends to fall off to the first base side out front, threw only fastballs, topping out at 73 mph. Good student.
