Angelo Andreone is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Monsignor Farrell HS. Medium, lean build with room remaining to be filled. A 7.32-second runner during the sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively out of the stretch. Full arm circle with extended actions before release. Up to 74mph while ranging from 71-73. Worked fastball on both halves on the plate with some natural cut and occasional arm-side run. Showed enough feel for curveball for it to be an effective out-pitch with an 11-5 shape on it. Secondary third-basemen, fielding out in front of his body while also showing some range to his glove side, has some excess movements during fielding process that could be condescended into cleaner actions. Accurate throws across the diamond, up to 75mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and a low back elbow, and slightly closed off in his stance. Rotates lower half and had a tendency to pull off the ball for some ground balls to the pull side. Swing path had some lift in it, getting long at times. Some strength throughout frame, some swing mechanics refinement could be beneficial to using the entire field with some power. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
