Carter Bailey is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Brookwood. Large frame with broad shoulders and a strong lower half. Physically mature. Ran a 7.44 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with drop and drive type mechanics as he did a nice job of getting down the mound. Flashed a whippy arm as he filled up the zone. Did a nice job of mixing pitches as he did not hesitate to start guys of with a slider or double it up. Fastball was up to 87 mph and mixed in a tight spinning slider. Also had feel for a late fading changeup in the upper-70's. Pitchability showing throughout the duration of his outing and projects on the mound. Secondary First-Baseman, clean gather out front and is fundamental in his footwork. Quick transfer and was accurate to the bag. Threw it 81 mph during drills. Profile fits the position well. Right-Handed Hitter, starting a touch closed off while balanced as he works into a low leg lift to stride. Strong hands generating bat whip through the zone as he sprayed it around the park on a line. Pull-side pop in the bat when he gets extended and shows to be a power threat. Outstanding Student.
