Grayson Smith is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Rocky Face, GA who attends McCallie School. Big and strong build. High leg raise delivery with a kick out front, high 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release, gets high on his front side and can get mis-timed getting back on plane/direction, lands very closed out front and throws around his core. Fastball sat in the low 90's, mostly straight. Threw a soft curveball as his main secondary pitch, flashes some bite when he's out front with it. Also flashed a change up that he could throw more often. Key to development will be learning to repeat his complicated delivery. Very good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
