Grayson Baldovin is a 2024 2B/3B, SS, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Athletic, proportional frame. Offensively starts in a balanced setup. Is max effort with up-hill swing path and has quick hand/bat speed. Employs a heavy pull approach and has the tendency to top-spin balls at times. A primary infielder that showed he uses proper foot/glove mechanics and moves well laterally with the ability to make the required plays. Showed off a strong arm with a quick release and zip across the diamond. In the outfield he shows proper foot and glove mechanics. Has shorter arm-action, like an infielder and showed his throws have some carry into the base. Was half accurate. Baldovin jumped on the mound and showed the ability to throw strikes. Clean arm action with an over-the-top slot which creates good ride on the fastball. Fastball had a 1786RPM spin rate. Works linear down the mound. Clocked a 7.44 60-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
