Parker Gregory is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Monument, CO who attends Pine Creek. Large frame with a lean, athletic build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.17 sixty-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a smooth leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and utilizes lower half well while driving to the plate. Released from a long, loose arm action. Fastball comes out of hand clean with cutting action to arm side in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 88 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with tight spin and late hard depth. Showed good feel for each pitch and effectively changed speeds. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing clean, athletic footwork while closing to the baseball. Fundamentally sound glove actions while funneling and working through exchange. Released from a three-quarters slot producing stiff on line carry to the bag topping at 89 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, narrow stance and simple leg lift trigger. Repeated a simple, direct path to contact with a fluid leveraged plane through extension. Consistently squared up the baseball producing hard, line drive contact between the gaps. Excellent student. Named to the 2017 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
