Riley Cornelio is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Monument, CO who attends Pine Creek HS. Athletic projectable build, plenty of physical projection remaining. Multi-part delivery with some energy at release, 3/4's arm slot, very fast arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, move in there, mostly straight. Slurve type breaking ball with hard spin, can get on top of curveball more consistently but it has quality spin. Maintains arm speed very well on his change up, will be a good pitch for him. Keeps improving every time we see him. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian.
