Barrett Bocca is a 2022 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Big and strong broad shouldered build, young face, plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, high back elbow load with a short lift and replace leg trigger, can use his lower half strength more to help generate bat speed, short hands driven swing with some hand quickness, strong enough to drive the gaps when he's behind the ball. 7.91 runner in the sixty, primary first baseman on defense, comfortable throwing from a low arm slot. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high leg lift delivery and some backside collapse, 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 76 mph with some running life. Tunneled and landed his curveball well and pitched to contact. Good student.
