Mathew Helmstetter is a 2019 C/MIF/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Peachtree Corners, GA who attends Duluth HS. Slender young build, lots of room and time to get bigger and stronger. Right handed hitter, tall stance with a simple load and timer, upper half rotational swing with tight hands, contact approach, handles the barrel well and works the middle of the field, can use his lower half better to generate bat speed, has some out front. 7.52 runner, worked out at all positions, best position presently looks to be second base, has lateral agility and good footwork in the infield, young catching mechanics and fundamentals.
