Adam Cameron is a 2017 C/RHP with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Hood River, OR who attends Hood River Valley HS. Slender young build, projects well physically. Wide flexible set up behind the plate, has good footwork and some quickness, arm works well with a short arm circle and release, can improve exchange and throwing the ball with two fingers consistently, makes accurate throws, 2.15 best pop time. Right handed hitter, drifting shift into contact, short swing with some hand quickness, line drive swing plane, tends to cut his swing off out front and can extend better though contact. Also pitched, complex delivery with a hard fall off to the first base side, athletic enough to repeat his mechanics, compact arm action with a high 3/4's release. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, good arm side running action at times. Curveball is a good pitch with 11/5 shape and good depth, throws strikes with both pitches and is effective. Improving his strength and ability with the bat will be key. Good student.
