Cohen Wilbanks is a 2019 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.29 runner, shows good arm strength behind the plate with good footwork shifting and throwing, 2.00 best pop time, receives the ball well in games, 2.21 to throw a runner out in the game.. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a loose line drive swing, handles the barrel well, will continue to improve as a hitter as he adds strength. Also pitched, long and loose arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, low effort release. Had a very quick and efficient inning, fastball topped out at 82 mph, showed good sharpness and power to a 74 mph curveball. Tended to shorten arm action on his change but had good arm speed and feel. Interesting on the mound with his command and having three pitches. Good student.
