Theodore (Ted) Elsner is a 2016 C with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Tolland, CT who attends Sport & Medical Sciences Academy. Elsner has a lean young build with room to fill out. Hits from a square upright narrow base stance, good extension with mid field contact. Stays inside ball well with a smooth bat path to ball. Repeats swing well, makes consistent contact and will continue to improve at plate with added strength. Defensively, short arm action, stays online to target, sure footwork with a clean transfer and release. Good Student.
