Kevin Casey is a 2018 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Home School. Large, physical, very strong present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Shows extreme strength when hitting, launched balls to the pull field with tremendous carry, shows bat speed with positive launch angle, also showed ability to work towards the middle of the field with similar strength in game situations. Showed solid actions in the outfield with the ability to maintain momentum while fielding cleanly, threw up to 89 MPH. Also threw 85 MPH across the infield. Showed very well on the mound, big rocker step back into max effort delivery, lands online well, hooked arm stroke still allows for clean acceleration through release. Fastball worked 84-89 MPH with some life, generally around the zone with the pitch. Showed curveball with power depth and 12/6 shape; also mixed in a short slider with good tightness and a quality fading changeup; giving him a full arsenal of pitches. Named to 2016 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
