Christian Buono is a 2016 C/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Xaverian. Medium, strongly built, proportioned frame. Looks the part behind the plate. Feet work well. Arm strength is still developing but makes accurate throws to second base. Keeps his arm action short. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced, wide approach and has lift in his swing. Shows good barrel control. Uses a toe tap trigger and has good feel for hitting. Repeatable swing path. Good student.
