Tyler Armstrong is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Danvers, MA who attends Governor Dummer Academy. Tall, strongly built pitcher's frame with more room to fill out. Ran a 7.92 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm action and stays online with his delivery. Has a long arm action in the back and works down and away with his 75 mph fastball. Generates sinking action and flashes a 62 mph curveball with 11-5 rotation. Also mixes a knuckleball. Also swung the bat, carries his hands low and works from an upright, balanced setup and knows how to use the whole field. Has strength in his hands and flashes bat speed. Moves well around first base and has an easy arm action. Very good student.
