Grant Lavigne is a 2018 1B/OF with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Bedford, NH who attends Bedford HS. Extra big and strong build. Left handed hitter, attacks the ball and hits with intent and real bat speed, uses his lower half well to generate power, lifting swing, not likely to be a high average hitter in the short term but has big raw power right now. 7.10 runner, limited to first base defensively but has good footwork there and will develop into an asset defensively. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest. Very similar to recent high Wake Forest draft Gavin Sheets.
