Kirk Kemp is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Lawrenceburg, TN who attends Lawrence. Small frame, lean athletic build with room to fill. Quick actions and light on his feet defensively, good carry on throws with very quick release. Soft sure hands, charges the baseball well with good body control and ability to maintain balance to throws while on the move. Hits with a high hand set, simple swing mechancis with a line drive plane and good extension through contact, pull approach. Good student.
