TJ Wachter is a 2021 1B/RHP with a 6-7 230 lb. frame from Shoreham, NY who attends P27 Academy. Extra large well proportioned athletic build, impressive raw strength. Hits from a straight stance with a leg lift trigger, has a well designed short and compact swing, works gap to gap in the middle of the field, has quick hands and the ball comes off the barrel well to the middle of the field, good base swing to continue to open up and grow from. 7.41 runner, showed his arm strength well from first base. Took a turn on the mound, long arm action in back leading to a 3/4's arm slot, pretty simple delivery that he repeats well. Threw strikes with fastball that reached 88 mph, slurve type breaking ball. Good student, verbal commitment to Fordham.
