2014 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Joshua Lymon is a 2018 1B/OF/LHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Sparkman HS. Lymon has a large frame with long limbs and some strength. Defensively he moves to the baseball well and works around the bag well. Lymon has good hands and can make the picks at 1B. At the plate he starts with an upright stance with a simple set up. Lymon has a pull approach and leads with his front shoulder. He has developing bat speed and gets underneath the baseball. Lymon pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He throws across his body and stays tall on his back side. Good student.
