Mason Murray is a 2018 SS with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Silsbee, TX who attends Silsbee HS. Murray has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he has developing arm strength with velocity up to 60 MPH. Murray has quick transfers and a quick release. His hands work well defensively and can make the throws on the run. At the plate, Murray starts with a square stance with a leg lift trigger. He has a deep load with a hand hitch. Murray works underneath the baseball and cuts off his finish out front. He has developing bat speed and developing strength in his swing. Young player with room to grow. Outstanding student.
