Taylor Wilkinson is a 2018 OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Rockdale County HS. Medium, athletic frame with lean present build and good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance, uses toe tap timing mechanism and shows good bat speed with intent in swing. Full swing with extension, has aggressive approach and looks to do damage to the baseball. Swing has leverage in it, will only get better jump off the barrel as he continues to add strength to frame. Willing and able to go the opposite way with authority. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves well to the ball with quick feet and overall efficient footwork. Fields cleanly and takes several running steps into crow hop and ultimately into release, has good arm strength with OF velocity clocked up to 83 MPH. Projects well in the OF. Very good student.
