Grant Barron is a 2019 LHP/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends The Westminster Schools. Tall frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.53 second 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with long limbs and a slow tempo delivery. Lands in line down the mound with a short side step delivery. Long arm circle in back with a compact three-quarters arm action. Commands the fastball to both sides of the plate topping out at 71 miles per hour. Short slider with a 2-to-8 shape and still developing the release point. Worked to weak contact and generated outs. Very good student as well.
