Alejandro Coronado is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Hillsborough HS. Slender broad shouldered build, lots of room to get stronger. Willing high energy blocker behind the plate, vocal receiver, tends to stand straight up when throwing and not step into his throws, has the athleticism to improve with better fundamentals. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base, tends to pull front side open early and hard, short loose swing at times when he stays directional to the pitcher, has barrel skills, mostly mid field to opposite field contact.
