Chase Shores is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-8 240 lb. frame from Midland, TX who attends Lee. Extra tall with a long and lean build and wide shoulders. Enormous projection as he matures and uses his length well with good extension out front coming from an extended 3/4 release. Throws with extreme plane with on time with arm side run and sinking action to both sides of the plate. Threw his off speed with conviction. Varied the shape of his breaking ball at times and the pitch showed good depth when fully extended. Solid feel for the changeup with fade and solid deception to the offering. Massive upside and seems to get better every time out. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma State. Named to the Perfect Game All American Classic.
