Myles Austin is a 2019 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-3 177 lb. frame from Smyrna, GA who attends Westlake HS. Very long and slender build, very long arms, looks taller than listed, lots of physical projection and room to add strength. 6.53 runner, has smooth and easy actions defensively with plenty of arm strength, has played both infield and outfield in the past and has the athleticism to play all over the field as he develops. Right handed hitter, lots of natural leverage in his swing, deep hand load with lots of loft and ability to put hard top spin on the ball, big power projection. Also pitched, short closed stride out front with energy at release, fastball topped out at 90 mph but more there with mechanical adjustments. High ceiling athlete with growing skills. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama. Selected to play in the 2018 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
