Marco Martinez is a 2020 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-0 213 lb. frame from Brownsville, TX who attends Hanna HS. Recorded a 7.45 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with strength and physicality present on the build. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a high three-quarters arm slot and a longer arm stroke in the back. Fairly simple delivery and repeats it well when on time. Gets extension out in front and worked the fastball up to 83 mph. Fastball has late life and can pitch effectively up in the strike zone. Some power to the curveball with the makings of a future out pitch. Arm strength plays from secondary positions of outfield and first base. Lefthanded hitter with an even base and compact hands. Slightly open start with a crouched stance and takes aggressive hacks. Hips open early with an uphill swing and looks to work to the pull side. Good student.
