Jacob Flores is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster HS. Slender young build, lots of room and time to get stronger. Left handed hitter, big leg lift to start his swing, foot will get down late at times, loose line drive swing, middle of the field contact approach, stays short enough when his foot gets down in time but will benefit from additional strength. 7.19 runner, has good actions to the ball in the outfield with a long and loose arm action, showed good routes to the ball in the outfield and made accurate game throws, showed his athleticism well. Also pitched, very long arm action, shows the ball to the hitter in back. Fastball topped out at 73 mph with occasional cut and sink, throws a big slow curveball to keep hitters off balance. Good student.
