David Azria is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Tenafly, NJ who attends Tenafly. Tall, strongly built pitcher's frame with solid athleticism. Ran a 7.70 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and throws across body at times. Works at 78-81 mph with his fastball and attacks hitters from a shorter arm action. Mixes an 11-5 curveball with solid depth and shape at 69 mph. Has good intensity on the mound and goes right at hitters. Also played the field, showed soft hands on the left side of the infield and has arm strength for third base. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and shows quick hands on the pitch inside. Takes an aggressive swing and flashes pull side. power. Gets good extension through the ball. Very good student.
