Kyle Rich is a 2018 3B/1B, RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller HS. Strong, athletic build for age and still has room to put on additional strength, projects well. On the infield, strong arm strength on throws across the infield with good carry and accuracy. Developing use of lower half into defensive actions. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a very wide base and high hand set. Short compact swing, direct to the baseball. Immediate transfer of weight to front side as swing begins. Good feel for the barrel with hard contact to all fields. From the mound, locates all three pitches on a consistent basis. Fastball was up to 84 MPH. Slider has sharp break and change up broke late with good downward bite. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect List.
