Peter Knights is a 2016 OF/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from White Plains, NY who attends Ardsley. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Moves quickly on feet in the outfield with a strong first step to the ball off the bat. Charges in well, throws from a lower arm slot, shows some strength, getting on top of ball will help throws carry more. Right-handed batter, starts with an upright, closed stance, high hand set, and uses a small leg lift trigger. Upper half swing, hands work well, shows nice bat speed with a feel for the barrel and ability to hit to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Good student.
